Spring 2026
We have submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping Report to the Planning Inspectorate (PINS). PINS will then consider the report and provide feedback on the initial proposal by 7 May.
Spring – Summer 2026
We will continue to develop the plans for Arrow Valley Solar and undertake investigative surveys on site. Engagement will take place with key stakeholders and landowners throughout this period. There will be frequent updates in the news section of our website.
Autumn – Winter 2026
Public Consultation – We will present our refined proposals to stakeholders and the local community as part of a full public consultation. Residents and community members will be able to attend in‑person events, speak to members of the project team, access more detailed information about the proposals, and provide formal feedback.
Winter 2026
We will carefully consider feedback and use it to help shape the final design. Once all feedback has been reviewed and any required changes incorporated, we will finalise our proposals.
Spring 2027
We will submit our Development Consent Order (DCO) application to the Planning Inspectorate for consideration.
Summer – Winter 2027
The Planning Inspectorate will examine and assess the application in public. During this period, stakeholders and members of the public can attend public hearings and take part in the examination process.
Spring 2028 – Winter 2028
The Planning Inspectorate will prepare a report for the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, including a recommendation on whether the application should be approved or not.
2028
The Secretary of State will make the final decision on the application.
2029 – 2031
If approved, we expect construction to take place between 2029 and 2031.
2031
The project is expected to be fully operational.
